15 Wise Strategies to Get Closer to Happiness

To find your own way to be happy there is no single recipe, but there are certain useful tools. Because happiness goes far beyond joy; it is a way to find inner peace, to feel that life has meaning.

1. BET ON YOURSELF

If instead of supporting each other we constantly criticize or fight each other, we will not be able to move forward. Treating yourself with love and kindness is one of the basic principles of happiness.

2. GIVE AND RECEIVE LOVE

The balance between giving and receiving love rejoices the heart and makes the journey easier.

3. GIVING YOURSELF TIME

Being able to spend a while with yourself each day, in silence, in a quiet space, allows you to connect with your own essence and, over time, to be able to change what you don’t like about your life.

4. BE GRATEFUL FOR WHAT YOU HAVE

The feeling of gratitude automatically elevates the mood. Starting the day and ending it by saying thank you has a transformative effect. The constant complaint strengthens the darkness and the feeling of emptiness. Appreciation and gratitude create unity and wholeness.

5. OBSERVE THE MIND

Perhaps we are for example cleaning the kitchen or driving and we notice a slight discomfort in the body or the spirit. It is almost always associated with an unpleasant thought. If we become aware of our feelings and beliefs, we can begin to change them.

6. CREATE THE HABIT OF FORGIVING

9. TREAT THE BODY WELL
